The order process – ordering fast and easily
How can I place an order with OTTO GOURMET?
1. SHOPPING BASKET
Once you have decided what to order, you can non-bindingly reserve your product(s) by clicking ADD TO BASKET. The “quantity” field allows you to specify how many units of the product you wish to order.
You can view all products in your shopping basket by clicking “Shopping basket” in the top right corner. On the “Shopping basket” page, you can check your order, delete items or change their quantity. Click “Update shopping basket” to view the changes you have made.
If you have a voucher code, you can enter it into the corresponding field. The total will be adjusted once you click “Redeem voucher code”.
Click the CHECK-OUT button to place your order. This will direct you to the order page.
3. ADDRESS INFORMATION
New customers will be prompted to register their personal account. You will first provide your personal, billing and delivery data. We recommend that existing customers briefly verify the accuracy of the stored data during every order. This is in your own interest.
If you already have an account with us, you can use your e-mail address and password to log in.
4. PREFERRED DATE OF DELIVERY & MODE OF SHIPMENT
In the next step, you choose your preferred delivery date and mode of shipment. Please ensure that somebody will be available to receive the parcel in person at your specified time of delivery.
We usually call you to confirm delivery. During this phone call, you can request further information about or preparation tips for your meat. Alternatively, you can choose to forego all personal contact during this step.
Of course, you are welcome to pick up your order from us in person at no extra cost.
5. PAYMENT DETAILS
We require your payment details to complete the order. Existing customers are asked to verify the accuracy of their stored payment information. New customers can select their preferred payment method and provide the relevant data.
6. ORDER OVERVIEW
Before submitting your final order, you will be shown a control page with an overview of your complete order data. Please check your billing and delivery address, product(s), price, quantity, mode of delivery and all other important information carefully. This is your last chance to correct or amend your order data. To do this, click the small pencil icon to the right of the data.
Please keep in mind that we weigh most products precisely by the gram, and that the price at delivery can deviate accordingly.
7. ORDER CONFIRMATION
You will be shown a link that allows you to print your order information for your record. You will also receive a confirmation e-mail containing your order details.
If you have any remaining question about the order process or wish to amend your order, you can contact our customer service from Monday to Friday, 9.00 am until 6.00 pm on (02452) 9 76 26 - 0. (This excludes public holidays observed in North-Rhine Westphalia). The extension is a regular landline connection. Your call is subject to the provisions of your landline tariff. No extra cost will be incurred.
9. SALES CONFIRMATION
As soon as your order has been processed, you will receive an e-mail to confirm the transaction. This means that we have checked whether we can fulfil your request.
10. SHIPMENT INFORMATION
You will receive information about the shipment of your order once we have packaged all available items contained in your order.
Your goods will either be available for pick-up from our meat centre or you will receive a tracking number for your parcel (if you have selected delivery via UPS). This tracking number can be used to view the current state of your shipment at any time.
We hope you are pleased to receive your order and will enjoy your GOOD MEAT. Unless you have specified separate delivery and billing addresses, your invoice will be enclosed with your order. In case of separate addresses, you will receive your invoice per e-mail or in the post at your billing address.
