US Beef

The height of excellence for any fan of American steak.

No doubt: the world’s best steaks come from the United States. Special breeds of cattle combined with certified breeding expertise and sophisticated feeding schemes are the secret behind the global reputation of American beef. We offer US beef from the hand-picked “private selection” of our breeder Dan Morgan from Burwell, Nebraska. This select American beef comes from cows that are predominantly Hereford and part Wagyu – it is almost impossible to surpass the quality of this flavour.

What is the difference between US beef from the “private selection” and regular American beef?

The products from the US beef “private selection” come from the Morgan Ranch in Sandhills, a prairie region in Nebraska. The Morgan family keep their cows on the pastures all year round and adhere to ecological principles of animal husbandry.

How are the animals fed?

The cows are reared entirely naturally. Fed with pasture grass, corn, alfalfa, hay, mash and minerals for at least 200 days prior to slaughter, the animals yield uniquely flavoursome meat. Alfalfa is a type of clover and a regular component of animal feed in the United States. The corn gives the meat a subtly sweet note. Due to their diet, their meat is also softer, fattier, richer and its buttery-creamy texture virtually melts on your tongue. The result: constant premium quality.
